🎥 About Massimiliano Kuveiller

Massimiliano Kuveiller is an Italian cinematographer who entered the film industry at a very young age, working his way through the camera department and learning the craft directly on set. His professional path is defined by years of hands-on experience, observation, and collaboration, shaping a pragmatic and story-driven approach to cinematography.

Rather than adhering to a fixed visual style, Kuveiller adapts his cinematographic language to the needs of each project, building images in close dialogue with directors and the emotional rhythm of the film. Super 16 has played a meaningful role in his work, valued not only as a format, but as a discipline that encourages precision, freedom, and a tactile relationship with light and movement.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in Italian cinema—his grandfather Luigi Kuveiller being one of the great cinematographers of the golden age and a key figure in the history of the AIC—Massimiliano carries forward a legacy grounded in respect for the set, collaboration, and responsibility toward the image.
