TDC full commitment to green and sustainable lighting has been confirmed by the outstanding participation of Nanlite and Nanlux brands to the 2023 Edition of our CineCampus.

Both the staff and the participating students have had the opportunity to upgrade their skills in LED technology thanks to the outstanding support of Italian retailer Gruppo TFS.

A company active in the movie industry for the last 31 years, Nanguang has launched the brands Nanlite and Nanlux to specifically meet the creative needs of filmmakers and video-makers in times shaped by the revolutionary advent of LED lighting technology.

A wide selection of Nanlite-Nanlux luminaires, from Nanlite Pavotube, Luce LED Forza 60B and 60C, 300B and 720B to the Nanlux Dyno 650C and Evoke 1200B, was tested on the ground by the students of the TDC23 CineCampus for the shooting of their short films.

Such fixtures proved themselves especially useful and effective in a fast-paced and multiple location shoot such as the CineCampus because of their versatility, compactness and extraordinary lighting quality and output.

A special thanks goes to Mirko Poppi and the entire team at Gruppo TFS for joining the Terre di Cinema experience and taking the unique chance to test such a cutting edge LED technology on 35mm film stock, we can’t wait to see the final results of our TDC23 students’ short films!
